Hello! Today is Monday, October 20th and this is Ms. McGrath calling from RVMS with a few announcements for Raiders and their families.
 
I am happy to announce that our main website has now been updated. It can be found at rvms.nbed.nb.ca and contains general information about our school that is accessible to the public. We will now focus on updating our Virtual School which can be reached from the main page but is accessible only by staff & students using their school username and password.
 
The school district is sponsoring a series of sessions which discuss the Inclusion Policy of the NB Department of Education. If you are interested in one of these sessions please click on the link under Upcoming events on the school website or see the document that is attached to the e-mail version of this message.
 
I would like to remind parents that students must be in attendance at school in order to be allowed to participate in after school events and activities. Students are reminded that they cannot sign in late in the day simply to be allowed to attend ASAP. If they have missed time, they should be staying to complete homework and make up for their missed time.
 
I also would like to let parents know that we do not accept cheques in exchange for Chef Frank money. We are more than happy to lend money to students who have forgotten their lunch but we discourage the practice of sending in daily small cheques in exchange for lunch money.
