Hello! Today is Monday, December 15th and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few reminders for Raiders and their families.
 
We have a very busy and hectic week ahead with many class presentations,activities and community fundraisers. Thank you to all Raider staff, students and families for your continued support of our many initiatives. We are proud to be the standout school in our District for extra-curricular participation.
 
As you know, we begin our Holiday Break at the end of the week. Friday is a full day of school but we have allowed classes to hold small class celebrations during the afernoon on Friday. We ask that you consider the District Nutrition Policy and  Nut/Peanut Free policy when sending in food items to be shared.
 
Teachers return to work on Monday, January 5th but this is a full day of PD and meeting so students do not return until Tuesday, January 6th.
 
We will be making a special effort to clean out desks, lockers, refrigerators and lost and found bins before we leave on Friday and ask that you remind your child to do the same and to bring home anything they may need to use over the break. There is nothing worse than realizing you forgot your winter boots at school and can't get them until January.
