​Voicemail for November 8, 2018

1.       There is no school on November 9 as it is a day for Professional Learning and Report card writing.  There is no school on November 12 in honour of Remembrance Day.

2.      Hot lunch orders close on November 9 at 11pm.  If orders are not paid by then, they will be cancelled. 

3.      Letters will be going home for those families who did not pay their school supply fees.  I will be following up with phone calls after parent teacher.  If there are special circumstances as to why a fee can not be paid, please give me a call.

4.      We are collecting items for our School Bazaar.  We would love the items before the first Tuesday of December as we will have to make a decision as to whether we have enough donated items for the students to purchase.  This money is used for purchasing stocking stuffers, PJs , underwear and socks for students in our school at Christmas time.   If your family is experiencing some financial hardship this year, do not hesitate to contact us and we will see if there is some way to assist. Items for the Bazaar can be dropped off in the office and we will have bins in the entry way just in case people want to donate when they are coming for Karate or basketball.

5.      Please take some time to look at our Lost and Found Mountain over the next while – we will be donating it right after parent teacher. 

6.      Next Thursday – it is National Jersey Day.  Students are encouraged to wear any type of sports team clothing.

7.      Mrs. Fredericks is wondering if anyone can help out at the Book Fair that is happening between November 21 and 23.  Even if you can help out for a short time, that would be wonderful.

8.      Reminder about the Painting party that is happening at the school on the afternoon of Sunday December 2.  Please register on the Art Party FB site or contact Kim in the office to register and get details.
