Hello! Today is Monday, November 2nd and this is Ms. McGrath calling with the weekly messages for Raiders and their families.
Photography Flewwelling will be delivering school picture orders this week. If you ordered pictures, please look for them in your child’s backpack. If your child had a retake last week, the pictures won’t be in for a few weeks and we will send out a reminder when those pictures arrive
With the cold weather upon us, we are requesting that all students come dressed appropriately for the weather. There are many instances where students may be outside during the school day. Although we usually come in when it rains, we do remain outside in colder temperatures and we ask students to plan for that. I know it can be a fight to get teens to wear a coat but you can use my name as an incentive if that helpsJ
RVMS is proud to once again host the Grand Bay-Westfield Remembrance Day Ceremony in our gym on November 11th. We encourage all Raiders and their families to attend the town ceremony. We will also be holding school based Remembrance Day Assemblies on Tuesday, November 10th.
Our second round of ASAP began today. A copy of the activity schedule is attached to the e-mail version of this message. This round runs until January 8th.
I have a few dates for you to mark on your calendars. There is no school for students on November 11th, Remembrance Day and also no school on Friday, November 27th as this is Parent/Teacher Day.  Evening Parent/teacher meetings will be on Thursday, November 26th. Information on appointment times will be available as we get closer to these dates. Report Cards will be going home with students on Monday, November 23rd…another day to check backpacksJ.
