Hello! Today is Tuesday, May 10th and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few messages for Raiders and their families.
We have a very busy few weeks coming up at RVMS. You will find our final ASAP schedule of the year attached to this message and posted at rvms.nbed.nb.ca.
This week our Drama club presents “The Ever After” in our theatre on Wednesday and Thursday evening. Showtime is 7:00 and tickets are $10 and are available at the school office or at the door. Please come out and support this hard working group of young actors.
Congratulations are due to Isaac Kennedy. Isaac is a Gr. 7 student who recently placed 2nd at the provincial Discours Oratoire which saw LFI students from all over New Brunswick compete. We are very proud! This is the 4th year in a row that RVMS students have placed in the top spots at this Provincial Oratorical competition.
Westfield Gold Course is sponsoring a “Golf Scramble” for all interested student golfers at our school. You do need to have golf experience to participate. Clubs are available if you don’t have your own and there will be prizes and lunch will be served. Please sign up in the office before Thursday.
Mr. Shiels is busy organizing our annual “Rave Run”. This is a 5K run on the morning of June 4th. More information is available by contacting davidthomas.shiels@nbed.nb.ca. We are always happy to see new participants and volunteers. Proceeds from this event go directly to support Physical Education at RVMS.
