Hello! Today is Wednesday, March 22nd and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few reminders for Raiders and their families.
Our Term 2 Report Cards are set to go home with students on Monday, March 27th. Please take a few moments to review the report with your child and then sign and return the parent signature form.
Parent/Teacher meetings will take place next Thursday evening, March 30th, from 5-8 pm and Friday afternoon, March 31st from 1-3 pm. Appointments can be made by calling the school at 738-6500 beginning tomorrow morning, Thursday, March 23rd at 8:30 am.
Because of Parent/Teacher and Professional Development meetings, there is no school for students next Friday, March 31st.
All of these dates, as well as dates for many other activities and events can always be found on the school website.  Go to www.rvms.nbed.nb.ca and click on the “Event Calendar” under the “General Information” tab. These weekly messages are also found under the Raider News tab.
I would also like to remind families that our school day goes to 3:10 and student are required to stay until then if necessary. We are very happy to offer ASAP or the opportunity to leave early as a privilege for students who are meeting expectations. Please support our school by encouraging students to stay for ASAP and also for Workroom/Homework Help if required.
There are only 60 student days left in the school year and many curriculum outcomes to be covered. The District has asked schools to remind families that attendance matters and regular attendance at school is a huge component of student success.
