Hello! Today is Tuesday, April 4th and this is Ms. McGrath calling with a few messages for Raiders and their families.
With the warmer weather fast approaching (hopefully!) we have moved our bus loading area to the field side of the school. This gives students access to the picnic tables, walking track and fields during morning and afternoon bus loading times. Please continue to use the lower parking lots when dropping off or picking up students and avoid the traffic circle area during these times.
As well, we encourage interested students to ride their bikes & skateboards to school during the warmer months. Bikes should be locked to the bike rack next to the school and skateboards may be stored in the large conference room across from the office during the school day. Students who bring these items to school must have and use a helmet.
Thank you to all of the families who participated in our Parent/Teacher meetings last week. I know many more families also communicated with Teachers by phone or e-mail. Thank you from all Raider Staff. Cooperation and communication between school and family is a win-win situation for all of us.
Gr. 8 - 2017 Hoodies are still on sale this week with the deadline to order set for this Friday, April 7th. Order forms and sample sizes are available in Mrs. Sawyer’s office if you are in Gr. 8 and interested in ordering a hoodie.
Next week our Gr. 7 students will receive the second HPV immunization. We will send out reminders next week but you can mark Wednesday, April 12th on your calendar if you have a daughter in Gr. 7.
Our student entrepreneurs continue to have pizza dough & cookies available for purchase. If students place the order with them in the morning, most days the items will be available by the end of the day. Cost is $5 per item.
