STOMP: A shout out goes to Mr. Manuel for all the hard work he does in organizing the Montreal trip for the grade 8 French Immersion classes. Great job Mr. Manuel!


Halifax: Meeting for students and staff going on the Halifax trip this June has been rescheduled for this Friday, February 9th at 12:15 in the Tech lab.  See you then! (please announce until Feb 9)

Student Council:  Student Council are selling heart-o-grams for heart month in the mornings at the cafeteria and at lunch by the auditorium, between the 5th and 16th of February!  1 for 2 dollars, 3 for 5 dollars and 10 for 10 dollars!

Heritage Fair:  Next week, Feb. 13th, we will meet during Block E.

Cheerleading: Practice on Friday


Boys’ basketball team: The boys had a quick win against Beaconsfield last night 52-16. Our top scorers were Ciaran with 10 and Gio with 9. Keep it up boys!  Practice afterschool today until 5.

Girls’ basketball team: Game today at Beaconsfield after school. Team meeting after Block A today in the library.

Intramurals: congrats to the following gr 7 homerooms (Adams, Wallace, Godreau and Mannette) who advance to semis next week. Gr 8’s are down to top 4 teams with the teachers vs Hewards class and McCarthy vs Cosmans in last regular season game. Games are now 18 minutes. Due to the storm last week gr 6 intramurals are Thursday this week. No spectators, need appropriate shoes to play.


2nd annual “Blue and white” game – (read all week) the Boys varsity basketball team will be facing off against the bayside selects and alumni this Wednesday from 3-5. The selects have an important practice Wednesday at 1210 in prep for the game afterschool.


Students who are interested in helping build and paint sets are asked to meet with Mr. McNutt at 12:15 in the auditorium.




SENIOR BAND – Practice Thursday at lunch

BEGINNER BAND – Practice this Thursday after school and Thursday at lunch

MUSICAL – Practice for all Tomorrow after school.
