Forest Hills School

We Build Inclusion, Capacity, and Learning Communities

January 12th, 2018

This is a message from Mrs. Savoie, principal at Forest Hills School.

We had a great first week of the New Year here at FHS!  As you know, it has been very cold, so please make sure that your children are bundled up for the weather.

Please keep in mind that next Wednesday the 17th is a half day for students.  Dismissal will begin at 11:30.

February is Fitness month at Forest Hills School.  This year we will once again be hosting our popular Family Phys. Ed. Night.  Mark your calendars for Feb. 6!!  We want to see lots of parents and children come out to our awesome event where you will be able to participate in a variety of physical activities.  The doors will open at 6 and the event runs from 6:15-7:45.  The cost is free but there will be a $2 fee to play laser tag.  The YMCA will be picking up parents and students who live on Roxbury Drive and the apartments near Mystery Lake.  If you would like a drive, please be ready for the bus at 6 p.m.  Hope to see you all there.

Cashless Schools will be coming to FHS very soon.  This will be a really convenient online system that you can use on a computer or phone to order hot lunch, pay for school clothes, sports, etc.  We will also have a computer available in the office for anyone who doesn’t have access to the internet.  Stay tuned!

Any students who are currently in Kindergarten, Grade 2 or Grade 5 who are wishing to be enrolled in French Immersion for next year, please go to the ASD-S website and scroll down to enroll.  The link is also under news on our website.  http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/ASD-S/Pages/welcome.aspx

As always if you have any questions or concerns for the school, don’t hesitate to contact us at 658-5338.

Remember Falcons, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe!

Have a nice weekend,
