FMS Made in New Brunswick Spring Fundraiser

​We are pleased to introduce you to the FMS Spring Fundraiser featuring products Made in New Brunswick.  This campaign consists of 4 products, A White Nest Soy Candles, BEES Louise Beeswax Wraps, Éclair Lip Balms, & Tobique River Trading Co. Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!

​The FMS staff have been working to prepare for the new school year, and to welcome all of our Falcons back to the nest!  

Grade 6 students ONLY will be attending school on Tuesday, September 7th.  Grade 6 - 8 students will all be here the following day, September 8th.  

Highlights to our Operational Plan while in the Green Phase to keep everyone safe and healthy:

-Masks to be worn in common areas (ie. Hallways) and on the bus 

- Focus on handwashing/sanitizing, social distancing and good hygeine practices 

- Limiting visitors to the building 

- Monitoring health and remaining home when sick

Cafeteria service will begin on September 13th - please visit www.chartwellsk12.ca for menu items and order placements.

Please keep an eye out for the school newlsetter withich will arrive home on September 7th, as well as the student-parent handbook!

​We are so very excited to have a chance to see our Falcons next week!  

The schedule is as follows: 

Grade 6  ONLY - September 8th 

Grade 7 ONLY - September 9th

Grade 8 ONLY - September 10th

All students - September 11th and onward 

Remember to bring: 2 masks, a pre-filled water bottle, inside sneakers, bookbag and lunch bag.

Connecting with FMS families -A Message from Ms.Rioux

During this time FMS staff are trying to connect with students via our Florenceville Middle Home and School Facebook page. If you haven’t had a chance and have Facebook, I encourage you to find the site and participate in an activity. We will be posting various challenges or activities twice per week.

We realize that these times can be difficult for some families, and want you to know that we continue to be here if you are in need of support. There are groups and programs that we can connect you with so please reach out to me, Ms. Rioux.  Attached to this post, you will find contact information for various mental health supports that are also available to students and families. ​

Please check your email for more information. I will be sending email updates on Monday of each week.

She is Active with the Reds

​UNB Reds Athletes Council and She is Active is presenting “She Active with the Reds” on Saturday, December 14th on the UNB Fredericton Campus. This event is for all girls in grade 3-8 and will provide exposure to basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming & hockey.​  For more information please see the poster in the Documents section under the name "She is Active with the Reds."
