April 1st, 2020 - School Message
As a school community, we hope you are feeling healthy and managing well. Please remember that we are all in this difficult time together and as a school, we are willing to help. If there is something, we can help you with, please let us know.
We are still waiting for further direction from the Department of Education on how we can continue supporting our Royals with their learning. Hopefully this information will come soon. As a staff we have been considering and preparing how we can best work with students as schools remain closed. We are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to reconnect with all our royals.
In anticipation of continuing learning soon, we are asking all students to check their school email daily. Their school email is accessible by logging-in to their Office365 account by visiting office.com. They then provide their regular login (which follows the form of their username followed by @nbss.nbed.nb.ca) and password. This is the same information students use to login to school computers. If a student is unsure of their school login information or needs their password reset, please have someone send an email on their behalf to firstname.lastname@example.org. With schools closed, it a slightly more difficult process to reset a password. Currently it is taking us approximately two weekdays to complete these requests. We have created a short video demonstrating how students can login to their Office365. You can find this video at: https://youtu.be/knd_mmnNsx0.
This is also a reminder that packed lunches are available for those in need all this week at the Riverview Boys and Girls Club and at West Riverview School. Please ensure you social distance from others if you are participating in this lunch program.
We hope to have new information on continuing learning soon. If you have any questions or you think we can provide you with some assistance at this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to ask.
