STUDENT COUNCIL NEWS
 
·         Reminder that there is a three legged race at lunch! Everyone come and participate whether or not you have a twin!

GUIDANCE NEWS

·         Grade 11/12’s - A rep from Memorial University will be here at noon in Room 102.  Also at noon, the Reserves will have an information table set up in the student lounge.

SPORTS NEWS
 
·         Mr. Jordan’s Phys. Ed. Classes are in room 130 today. No quiz, but bring your binder and pen.
 
 
·         Congrats to the girls hockey team for two resounding wins against Harbour View. Shout out to Abbey Blaney for an impressive hat trick!

·         In hockey action last night at the Rothesay Arena, the Boys' Hockey Team defeated Hampton High School by a score of 4-0. Scoring for RHS were Josh Cropley, Zach Long, Kevin Marcolin, and Jack MacGillivray. Lucas Hallett and Nick English recorded the shutout in nets. A big thanks to all those who came out and supported the Red Hawks.

·         If you are interested in performing in the Night of the Living Arts show on October 29th, there is a sign up sheet on the Performing Arts board outside room 127, Mme. Holder’s room. Performances do not have to be Halloween related.

·         Hey everyone, it’s Halloween week and the spooky “Night of the Living Arts” is on Thursday night. Admission is $6 without a costume, $5 with a costume. Show starts at 7:30pm. Hope you to see you all there!

·         A limited amount of purple pumpkins will be available for free at the office after school today. A purple pumpkin means you will be providing non-food treats as well as your regular treats for Halloween. Let’s make Halloween fun for everyone!
