On the Menu today in the Cafeteria: Greek Meatball Gyro with Vegetable topping and Tzatziki Sauce. Subline:  Turkey and Swiss on a Kaiser.
 
·        This year’s Prom dinner will be held at 5:30 pm at King’s Church on Wednesday, June 20th.  Tickets are on sale now in Room 244 from Mrs. Jones.  Tickets are $30.00 per person and will not be sold at the door.
 
·        “Kiss a Grad Goodbye” will be on sale this week at lunch in front of the Theatre.  The cost is $.50 each.  Send one to a Grad to give them a sweet Farewell!
 
·        Today is Pride Colour Day KV!  There will be Rainbow Sherbet sales again today in the lobby at lunch.  $1.00 per scoop.  Bracelet sales continue for the rest of the week.   $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.
 
·        Hey KV!  Brooke Cormier is collecting supplies for the SPCA.  Advisories will compete to win awesome prizes!  Check the list posted in your Advisories to bring in items worth more points.  Good Luck KV!
 
·        Congratulations to Mr. Sutton for an amazing performance last night at the Imperial Theatre in Mamma Mia.  Keep up the good work.
 
·        The KV Improv Team is performing in an Improv Show at Saint John High on Friday at 6:00.  Admission is by donation so come out and show your support.
 
·        The Classic Gaming Club will be meeting at the 2nd half of lunch today. We will be planning a 12 hour gaming event with an Injustice 2 tournament to commemorate Braedon Lyons and to help support his family.
 
·        Concert Band will be rehearsing today after school in the Music Room.  Please be in attendance.  Attention all students who are performing in the Concert in the Park on Monday – Please meet in Ms. Palmer’s room after the announcements tomorrow (Friday) for a brief meeting. It is very important that you are in attendance for this meeting!
 
·        Hey KV Staff members and students, do you want to represent KVHS at the 14th Annual Rave Run June 2?  As part of this 5K race there is an ASD-S competition.  See Mrs. LeBlanc in Room 285 for an application form or go to raceroster.com.  Early bird deadline is Friday, May 25th.
 
·        Grads! KV Crusaders Facebook page is running a contest!  Go participate for your chance at Grad Dinner tickets.
 
·        Could all members of Renaissance please meet today, Thursday, May 24th at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136.  New members are always welcome
 
·        Are you looking for an exciting opportunity this summer?  The YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange Program is a national exchange program offering opportunities for youth to gain valuable work experience, explore another part of Canada and improve their second official language skills, all for the cost of $100.  If you’re interested in travelling to Quebec for 6 weeks of the summer, having a full time job and exploring Quebec on nights and weekends, go to the school lobby during lunch today, May 24th to find out more information.
 
 
Also, the YMCA is seeking alternate host families in Saint John to billet a 16 -17 year old youth from Quebec for the six week summer program.  Agreeing to host will help youth from your community gain the opportunity to participate in the program in Quebec.  Alternate host families will receive a $300 grocery gift card to help offset some of the costs of hosting.  For more details and to apply at:
