The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership has arrived in the Guidance Office.  Applications are available for pick up.  They are due November 16^th.

EVENTS:

There will be a meeting on Tuesday at lunch for Grade 11 students who are planning to help run Belinda’s Bash.  Look for us in the Science Lecture Theatre (264) at 12:35.

YEARBOOK:

Attention all Grads!  Your baby photos for the yearbook are due Friday, November 2, 2018.  Email them to us at KVHSyearbookstaff@gmail.com.  Place them in the folder outside the Yearbook room in the Math Wing or give them to any of the senior editors.

CLUBS – TEAMS

Cyber Titan practice today at lunch.  Today is the last day for the Practice Round.

Could all members of Renaissance please meet on Tuesday, October 23^rd at 12:30 in Mrs. Wright’s room, Room 136 in the Math Wing.  New Members are always welcome.

Attention Shutterbugs!  The Photography Club will hold its weekly meeting in room 414 today at lunch.  New members are always welcome!

The Debate Team will meet on Tuesday at lunch in Room 004.  We will do some fun topic practice debates and make plans for more activities.  All are welcome!
 

To all Dance Team members who would like to perform in the Spook Trail, there will be a meeting on the blocks after the announcements.  There will also be practice after school.  We recommend any guys looking to be dancers in the musical to give it a try.  Also to any actors, there will be a  skit during Spooktrail as well. So come to the Blocks too!

MUSIC - DRAMA – THEATRE – ART

There will be a sectional for low brass and percussion players in the Concert Band after school today in the Music Room.

Tickets for the Fall Play – Nothing Is the End of the World (Except for the End of the World) are now available in the Library and Office for $10.00.  The Play runs October 23, 24, and 25.  Come out and support KVHS’s Theatre Program.

This week is the Fall play and we are in need of volunteers for House Committee and Box Office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening.  If you can help any of these nights, please see Mr. Sutton today.

SPORTS

Girls’ basketball tryouts today at 5:30 p.m. and tomorrow at 4:00 p.m.  Please bring participation forms that are available in the office.

Congratulations to two Cross Country Provincial finalists who came in 2^nd and 5^th at the Provincials.  Cameron Harris ran 4 km in 14 minutes and 41 seconds, he came in 2^nd.  Allie Griffin ran 6 Km in 27 minutes and 37 seconds.  Congratulations!
