· Good Morning Crusaders! The Leadership Team would like to send out a big thanks to all who came out to Casino Night last night! It was a lot of fun and a great kick off to our 12 days of Christmas! We would also like to send out a sincere thanks to all of the staff who came to Chaperone – Mrs. MacDonald, Mrs. Tonner, Ms. Ryan, Mr. Gallant, Mr. Brideau, Mr. Cyr, Mme Robichaud, Mr. Reynolds, Ms. Palmer, Mrs. Taylor, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Dobson and Mrs. Jensen! Thank you so Much! Without you, events like this could not happen.
· The Grad Write up deadline has been extended to December 11. You can take them to a Yearbook Editor or give them to your Advisory Teacher as the Yearbook Staff will go to Advisory collecting them weekly.
· Attention KV! Your first coffeehouse of the year will be on Monday, December 18th. The cost is only $5.00 for some awesome Christmas music, snacks and hot drinks. All proceeds will go to two of our own KV Students, Marissa Gootjes and Justice Mailman. Also if you are interested in performing, please sign up on the Arts Board by December 13th! Or come and see Mrs. Lannigan.
· Good Morning Crusaders! As you may have noticed, the school is all decked out for the Holidays! We would like to invite all Advisories to make and add decorations to the trees in the lobby and the cafeteria if they would like. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
· Good luck to the Junior girls basketball team as they play in the Leo Hayes Tournament this weekend. Also good luck to the Senior girls basketball team as they play in the Horton Tournament this weekend.
· For anyone still looking for school clothing, there are still shirts and sweatshirts available in the office. If your size is not available, new supplies will be arriving soon.
· The Boys Hockey team is travelling to Miramichi today. Please excuse the players at 11:10 for the Bus. Good Luck Team!
· Campus Market Announcement – Where are you getting your Christmas gifts this year? I don’t know, do you have any suggestions? Well the KVHS Campus Market is next Wednesday, December 13th from 9:00 am. – 12:00 p.m. The Entrepreneurship Classes have been working very hard to put together an awesome market where you can do all your Christmas shopping. Don’t forget your money and look out for our booth, Merry Mittens!
· Attention Europe travel fans! We hope to get a trip to Europe organized for this June! Yes Europe in June 2018! There is an online questionnaire available to help us see if there is enough interest to begin taking deposits. Please see Mr. Thorne in Room 228 for more info. There will also be an information meeting sometime next week.
· The KVHS Reach for the Top team hosted their 13th annual invitational event on Saturday. In the senior division. KV had a perfect record, winning gold. Congratulations to the team for winning KV’s 30th consecutive senior New Brunswick tournament.
The Reach team and their coaches Mr. Brideau, Mr. Hermann, Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Thorne would like to thank the many other staff members who volunteered on Saturday. Thank you to Mrs. Badger, Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Poirier and Mr. Gallant. Without you the even would not have been possible.
