KVHS Announcements -  February 6, 2018
 
  
·         Today’s special in the cafeteria is: shepherd’s pie and salad for $6.00
 
·         KD Day will start again tomorrow.
 
·         If you are attending UNB (Fredericton or SJ) next year and have financial need, you should come to guidance and sign up to be considered for the Joyce Family Foundation Bursary. One student will be chosen on February 9th.
 
·         Renaissance is doing a sock drive. Bring in new or gently used socks to your advisory. The advisory that brings in the most pairs wins a DQ cake. The sock drive runs until February 9th!
 
·         Yearbook staff will be selling books in the cafeteria from February 12th – 28th. Books are going fast so don’t miss out!

·         Grads! Black and White Affair is coming up on Thursday, February 22 from 6-8pm. Make sure to mark your calendars for this awesome, semi-formal event with your grad class of 2018!
 
·         Jazz Band will be rehearsing in the music room after school today.
 
·         There will be an Indian Umbrella Club meeting today in Mr. Standring’s room at lunch. Hope to see all members there!
 
·         There will be no more student initiated course changes. We will take one last look at all previous requests to see if any changes are now possible.
 
·         New scholarships are posted! Check the bulletin board in the guidance area.
 
·         Mr. Dobson’s Political Science class is in Lab 406 today.
 
·         There will be a meeting for the Me To We Club today at lunch in Mrs. Lanigan’s room. All members must attend!
 
·         The boys hockey team are hosting RHS tonight in a charity fundraiser for the Children’s Wish Foundation at 8pm at the QPlex. Come out and support the Crusaders and the Children’s Wish Foundation.
 
·         The boys hockey team are reminded to sign up for meeting times on the schedule on the classroom door.
 
·         Good luck to the girls hockey team as they host St. Mac’s tonight at 6:15pm. Come out to support your Crusaders!
 
·         Today is the last day to register for the Waterloo Programming Competition. See Mrs. Leblanc in room 285 during advisory to register. Competition date is February 14.
