This is a message from Mrs. Blanchard, Principal at Hampton Elementary School. Here is your weekly edition of the HES Hawk Squawk.
What a beautiful week with mild temperatures! Our word of the week was feasible. This week we had a PSSC meeting on Monday. All of our meeting minutes can be found on the school website. Our PSSC will be hosting a very informative evening in April called Parent Power Night. This event will take place April 11th so mark it on your calendars now. Author Keith Scott visited with classes on Tuesday to share his work as an author but also as a basketball player. Students learned about the different animals and birds representing each Province as he shared slides of bears!
On Wednesday it was wonderful to see the sea of pink around the hallways of our school. Our guidance teacher, Mrs. Clarke took time to speak with all classes about the significance of Pink Shirt Day and our classrooms shared a reading of a WITS book. We try to teach our students the difference between Rude, Mean and Bullying. Mrs. Clarke is always available to support parents in their discussions with our students regarding any social situations and can be reached at MaryCatherine.Clarke@nbed.nb.ca
Hot lunch: A reminder this Wednesday the March Hot Lunch program begins.
Phys. Ed: When we return from the March break, all our Phys Ed classes will have a special guest teacher, Blake Edwards from Rugby New Brunswick. We look forward to this special visit.
News from the HOME & SCHOOL: There is a meeting this Thursday, March 2 at 7PM in the school library.

March Break is March 6th-10th

Our weekly Hawk Squawk is always posted on our school website under the Synrevoice tab!
Have a great weekend!
