·         The baseball team beat Simonds High School last night with a score of 13 – 0 in a mercy rule five inning game.  Will Cromwell, Cameron Greer and James Duffley combined to throw a shutout!  The boys play again on Saturday against Sussex High at Bicentennial Field at 1:00 p.m.  Everyone come out and cheer on the Red Hawks!!

·         The will be a brief meeting boys’ hockey meeting today in room 129 at 12:30 p.m.

·         Wednesday, Oct. 1st @ 8 p.m. there will be a FREE Sport Injury Prevention Workshop @ RNS.  Join us for this free engaging workshop for coaches, athletes, teachers and parents in preventing sport related knee injuries.   Dr. Jennifer Fletcher will discuss ACL injuries, the long term concerns for athletes and provide a review the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine’s position statement on ACL injuries.  The FIFA 11+ program will be introduced. Athletic Therapists, Stewart Munroe and Gillian Gilmore will give a presentation and demonstration on the basics of this new injury prevention program.   Location: Rothesay Netherwood School - School House—Susan B. Ganong Theatre across from the Gymnasium; Wednesday October 1st 8:00 p.m.

  • It'll be a busy couple days of RHS sport:  Our JV soccer teams are off to the Mathieu-Martin tournament today as well as our boys golf team will be off to Hampton for Regionals.  Our softball team is off to both St. Leonard and Southern Vic tomorrow for league games.  And also tomorrow, our baseball team is off to Sussex for a league game.  Good luck and safe travel to all teams. Go Red Hawks!!!

·         RHS Ring Order Days:  Tuesday Sept 23 & Wednesday Sept 24 at lunch.  Hello Class of 2014!! It is time to order your Class Rings with Jostens!  The Jostens Sales Reps will be here on Tuesday and Wednesday ruing lunch to take your orders and size you professionally.  All you need to get started is a $60 down payment.  Com check out all the BLING!!  If you would like a catalogue, please see Mrs. Gautier in Room 102.

·         The varsity boys soccer team will have combined practices tonight  with the JV boys team as follows:   5:30 – 7:00 p.m. on the lower turf
