· Tonight is our first concert of the year – The Guitar Showcase! Come out at 8pm for a great show, after the Open House. The $5 admission fee will go towards new guitars for the music room. Submitted by: J. Shea, teacher
· Would anyone on BRR Student Committee who is able to come to tonight’s Open House for one hour, please see Mrs. Holder today. Submitted by Mrs. Holder
· Attention all BRR Committee Members – please have your designated posters delivered by Friday of this week. If you haven’t yet picked yours up, please see Mrs. Holder.
· Those students interested in the Austria, Germany & Switzerland trip of March 2016 who did not receive brochures and applications, please come to Mr. Donovan’s room at 12:30 sharp today, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday to receive further information. Thank you.

· Coins for Caroline fundraiser ends today, so make sure you get your donations in as someone will be by during first period to collect the money. The winning class will be announced at our assembly on Friday. Submitted by Student Council
· Photo Day: October 2 – for best results they suggest clothing that is free of large logos and busy designs.
· Attention Gr 12: Info available in Guidance Office on Loran Scholarships - for students with 85% + average and leadership involvement. Submitted by P. Godwin
· Also info on the S.A.T.’s is now available at Guidance. These are tests that need to be taken to get into U.S. colleges/universities. Submitted by P. Godwin
· Yearbooks: will go on sale at lunch today for $35 in the student lounge. See Edline, as well, to order your yearbook on line. $35 is the early-bird price!
· There will be a Beyond the Hurt Meeting Friday at lunch in Mrs. Chiasson’s room (113).
· There will be a brief Engineering Club meeting at the beginning of lunch in Mr. Copeland’s room (118). Students interested in coding/programming Club are encouraged to attend this meeting. Submitted by Mr. Copeland and Mr. Cook
· Any girls wishing to play RHS Girls Hockey this season, there will be a mandatory meeting this Friday, Sept 26th @ 12:30pm in Mr. Arsenault's room
· There will be a Girl’s Rugby meeting tomorrow (Friday) at lunch in room 103 for any girls wishing to play this spring. No athletic background needed, newcomers welcome!! Submitted by Drew Collins
· Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run your our business? Junior Achievement has an entrepreneur program beginning in the middle of October that is free to students. Registration information is available at the office. Submitted by Mrs. Dunnett
· Boys’ golf team: They play in Moncton @ Pine Needles this Saturday. Good luck boys!
· Attention swimmers: Want to swim for RHS? All students welcome. We use Simonds’ pool on T/Th from 5:30-7pm. Come out and represent your school.
· Wednesday, Oct. 1st @ 8 p.m. there will be a FREE Sport Injury Prevention Workshop @ RNS. Join us for this free engaging workshop for coaches, athletes, teachers and parents in preventing sport related knee injuries. Dr. Jennifer Fletcher will discuss ACL injuries, the long term concerns for athletes and provide a review the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine’s position statement on ACL injuries. The FIFA 11+ program will be introduced. Athletic Therapists, Stewart Munroe and Gillian Gilmore will give a presentation and demonstration on the basics of this new injury prevention program. Location: Rothesay Netherwood School - School House—Susan B. Ganong Theatre across from the Gymnasium; Wednesday October 1st 8:00 p.m.
