·        In upcoming boys' hockey action, RHS will be playing an exhibition game tonight against Harbourview High School at 8 pm in the Rothesay Arena. Come out and support your Red Hawks.  Submitted by:  L. MacDonald, Teacher
 
·        Attention actors!!  Auditions for One Act Plays will be held Friday at lunch in the music room.  Sign up on the audition schedule on the Performing Arts board.  Everyone is welcome!  Submitted by:  J. Shea, Teacher
 
·        There will be a Yearbook meeting in the resource room today at 12:30.  Submitted by:  Yearbook Committee
 
·        Choir will rehearse today at lunch.  Submitted by:  J. Shea, Teacher
 
·        A former teacher of RHS and local celebrity is performing this Wednesday at the Imperial Theatre.  Lyudmila Knezkova-Hussey will be performing Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto with the NB Symphony Orchestra.  Student tickets are only $10.  If you would like more information please see Mrs. Shea.  Submitted by:  T. ·        Grade 12s:  info is now available in Guidance Office for the TD Scholarship for Community Leadership.  This is a National Scholarship (20 across Canada).  Marks are important but the main criterion is outstanding community leadership.  Submitted by:  P. Godwin, Guidance
 
·        Grade 12s:  A rep from UNBSJ will be here Tuesday, Oct. 21st, period 5, for presentation to interested students.  Sign up at Guidance (need teacher permission).  Submitted by:  P. Godwin, Guidance
 
·        Grade 12s:  Rep from St. Thomas University will be here in Guidance area 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22.  See Mrs. Godwin to sign up.  Teacher permission is required.  Submitted by Mrs. Godwin
 
·        First practice for wrestling starts Tuesday, 21st, meeting at the Rothesay High gym at 5:00 p.m.  Submitted by:   Corrine Donovan, Student
·        Attention B-ballers: Try outs begin this week
o   Boys JV & Varsity Combined try out:  Today, Oct 20th 6-8 p.m.
 
·        Christian Fellowship will meet at lunchtime on Tuesday, October 21st in Room 102, Mrs. Gautier's room. There will some goodies to enjoy as we work through the book of James together.  Submitted by:   Alyssa Hayter
