​ Hampton Elementary School students are active participants in reducing waste, conserving energy, caring for the environment, and educating families and the community about the importance of composting, recycling, gardening, and being responsible eco-citizens. What you might not know is that our HES Greenhouse team just launched our very own Youtube channel! This student run channel will provide information about how our greenhouse functions, the importance of inquiry based learning, and the role students play in environmental protection. This channel will also feature special guest hosts (i.e. local farmers and environmental activists) and a series of plant based experiments. HES values the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) education and we believe this project will help our students to be leaders in this area.
