Forests Worth Knowing is looking for educators to participate in a free three day workshop on sustainable forest management in New Brunswick. With the generosity of our many sponsors, educators will be treated to their own room at the beautiful Delta, Fredericton, NB where accommodations and meals are provided. The workshop takes educators into New Brunswick’s working forest and explains the science behind forest management. Forests Worth Knowing workshop exposes educators first hand to:

 
·         The technology and equipment used in forests and mills
·         How efforts are made to protect water quality and wildlife habitats
·         Learn about many career opportunities for young people
·         Receive material and a wealth of information for use in the classroom to enhance the teaching of science, geography, and environmental studies
·         Meet forest professionals
