​Hi Everyone!

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of June?! Where has the school year gone? June is always busy, busy, busy so keep an eye on your June calendar. (It was sent home on Monday. It’s on yellow paper. Please let me know if you did not receive one.) Here’s what is coming up at BPS …
1.     Inquiry Projects are due on Tuesday, June 6th.
 
2.    Our Inquiry Fair Open House is on Thursday, June 8th. Everyone is welcome to come into the school and view the projects from 11:15 am until noon. Students will be displaying their projects and discussing what they learned about their research topic.
 
3.    $5.00 for our Clay Café visit is due. Please send your child’s money to school in a bag with their name on it.
 
4.    Clay Café will be at school on Friday, June 9th. All grade two students will pick a piece of pottery to paint. Once they are painted, the Clay Café staff will take them back to the shop to be fired in the kiln. The finished pieces will be dropped off at school before the end of the year.
 
5.    June 15th is the last hot lunch day.
 
6.     June 16th is the last day to purchase milk.
 
7.     There is a sock hop on Monday, June 19th. The cost will be a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
 
8.     BPS Family Picnic will be on Tuesday, June 20th.
 
9.    The K-2 students will participate in an outdoor fun day on Wednesday, June 21st.
 
10.   Friday, June 23rd is the last day of school for students!
 
I’m sure I have forgotten something so keep an eye on your email for other items. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
