It was great to see parents again last week at our Meet the Teacher night. If you were unable to attend and would like to follow up with me another time please let me know.

​We continue to build our routines and make sure we are following expectations. We created a list of expectations together as a class in our first week and we review it daily.​

Reading - Students will bring home a book(s) this week for reading. Attached will be a strategy that we are working on in class to help them complete the book

Writing - Students are working on writing about personal stories (ex: getting groceries, bikes rides etc...). I will be sending home a copy of their writing this week, along with a goal for them to work on.

Sight Words - This week we are reviewing he, on, to, at. I will send home an activity for them to play this week with the Kindergarten sights words.

Math - We are working on both patterning and number sense for the next few week. I am hoping we can create a class number book that students can bring home to share.
