​Hello all,

In 6A, 6B, and 6/7C Science we are starting to work on our STEAM Expo projects. The STEAM Expo is an annual science fair held at schools throughout the country, and has a district level which students can sign up to attend as well. The booklet attached to this message contains a full schedule of what parts of the project need to be completed by specified dates, as well as guidelines and suggestions about how the projects should look.

It also contains some helpful resources in case your child is struggling to find a topic. In particular, www.sciencebuddies.com is a great place to start!

Grade 6 students are generally asked to complete an experiment. However, students wishing to complete an invention or innovation may do so as long as a clear plan is approved by myself and a parent/guardian. 

Students were asked in class to have their topics ready to go for tomorrow (Monday, Nov. 25th). Students who need extra support are encouraged to come see me at lunch, or to book an appointment with me after school.
