Dear Parents/Guardians:                                                         September 19th, 2016             
 
The cross-country season is here again!  There are four cross-country meets for South side Schools.  All children in Grades Three through Five are welcome to participate.  The Grade Three race is 800-1000 meters and the Grade Four’s and Five’s run 1000-1200 meters.
 
Parents are expected to drive their children to and from the meets.  All races take place on Wednesday afternoons.   All meets start at 1:15 and should be finished no later than 2:45. Participants should be dressed in comfortable pants or shorts and running shoes (no crocs).  Your child will receive a school shirt and is to be returned after the season is over. 
 
The schedule for the cross-country season is:
1.      Wednesday, September 21st  - at Morrell Park
2.      Wednesday, September 28th - at O’Dell Park.
3.      Wednesday, October 5th  - at New Maryland Elementary
4.      Wednesday, October 12th - District Meet at Nasis Middle
 
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU LET MR. KING and MR. McISAAC KNOW WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING EACH MEET SO THAT WE KNOW THAT YOUR CHILD IS ACCOUNTED FOR
