Students are encouraged to donate a “Toonie for Terry” and all monies raised through the event will be forwarded to The Terry Fox Foundation to further the cause of cancer research.
In 1980, one man set out to do the impossible; run across Canada on one leg to raise money for cancer research. Thirty-eight years later, over $680 million has been raised in his name and we at GNMES are proud to be keeping Terry’s dream alive.
For more information on Terry Fox or the Foundation you can visit www.terryfox.org.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Sincerely,
GNMES Staff
