What we are learning:

Literacy:  5 new sight words and phrases – out, as, be, have, go

Numeracy:  Work on teen numbers.

You and Your World: Peace, friendship and belonging to a group.

 Information Items/Dates to Remember:

·        Nov. 10 – Professional Learning Day – no school for students.

·        Nov. 13 – Remembrance Day Statutory holiday – schools are closed. 

·        Students are invited to wear black and orange on Tuesday, Halloween Day (no costumes please!)  We will be working on Halloween Numeracy and Literacy activities throughout the day.

·        Please limit the Halloween treats in lunches – thank you!

·        Christmas Concert dates – Dec. 7th and Dec. 8th – 9:15 a.m. – no costumes necessary – wear your best!

·        Nov.7th- Picture Retake Day!

Homework:

·        5 new words and phrases and read 1 good fit book each night.

·        Bring your homework bag and Sight Word Book each day.

·        Label any money being sent to school so the teacher will know its intended purpose.

·        Return Library books on Thursdays.
