What we are learning:

This week we will be introducing the letter sounds for “Ii” and “Pp”.  In math, we are continuing our unit on sorting and patterning. For You and Your World, we will continue to learn about safety routines at school, such as a fire drill, and introduce school evacuation and lockdown safety drills.  Please talk to your child at home about these procedures as they can be somewhat intimidating the first time that the children experience them.

Information Items/Dates to Remember:

·         Terry Fox Walk is Thursday.  Please make sure that your child wears comfortable clothing and footwear that is weather appropriate for that day.

·         Please note that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Thursday, October 6th andFriday, October 7th due to Teacher Professional Development Days.
