School Memo #10-Monday, November 6th, 2017
Memo to Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
 Monday, November 6th, 2017

Good Monday to all our Creeker Families,

Safety Reminder - When dropping off your child in the morning, please remember to stay in line while those in front of you finish letting their child out. We are trying to avoid any accidents. Thank you .
                           - A reminder that students are not to have drinks or food on the playground at any time as a safety precaution.

VanGo! Art Exhibit- We are fortunate to have the work of emerging Canadian artists displayed in our main hallway as part of the  VanGo! Art program. Students will also be involved in presentations later in the month so that they become more familiar with this work. They will also be displaying their own art around the theme of Canada 150 in the coming weeks. Come and take a tour!

Student Forum - I will be meeting with selected K-2 and 3-5 students tomorrow to take any suggestions they may have for our school as well as any concerns they may have. Increasing student voice in school is part of our school and district goals for this year.

Remembrance Day Ceremony - Our ceremony takes place at 10:30 am this Thursday. All families are welcome to attend. Please let us know if you plan on coming so that we can arrange seating. We will have bagpipers, the choir performing and guest speakers from Base Gagetown.

Harvey Studio Retakes - these happen this Wednesday!

UNB Reds Night - If you are planning on going to the Southside Schools Reds Night, please get your tickets by Friday at 4 . See attachment.

NO SCHOOL THIS FRIDAY - this Friday is a professional learning day. As such, there is no school for students. Teachers will be collaborating on assessments and next steps for students. as they prepare achievement reports.
