Memo for Garden Creek Parents and Guardians
Good morning Creeker Families!
At this time of year, I want to remind you all that you need to check each morning to make sure there are no school delays or closures, bus delays or cancellations. This can be done via the school or district website, http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/asd-w/Pages/default.aspx,twitter, listening to a local radio station, or phoning the hotline at 453-5454 or 1-888-388-4455.
Home & School would like you to know that in case of a school cancellation on a Thursday Chartwell's hot lunch day, the lunches ordered will be delivered on the following day, Friday. In case of a cancellation on a pizza hot lunch day, a day will be added onto the end of the rotation.

Tues. Feb. 20th - Pizza hot lunch; K-2 100th Day of School celebrations; first day of Purple Pinkies for Polio fundraiser ($1 donation to polio vaccines for developing countries-through the Rotary); Continuing to collect 100th day Food bank donations; Home and School meeting 6:30pm
Weds. Feb. 21st -Fluoride mouth rinse; Purple Pinkies for Polio fundraiser continues; Continuing to collect 100th day Food bank donations
Thurs. Feb 22nd -Chartwell's hot lunch; Purple Pinkies for Polio fundraiser continues; Continuing to collect 100th day Food bank donations
Fri. Feb 23rd -Movie Night/Bottle Drive in support of Creeker Families in need (details will follow)
6:30pm Showtime, "Aladdin" is the movie (in preparation for our amazing drama production!);
Purple Pinkies for Polio fundraiser last day to donate; Last day for 100th day Food bank donations before we count up the items- grade with the most donations will get to go to the food bank to bring donations in person! Entries from Grade 5 students for the yearbook cover design contest due!

Feb. 26- Student Pancake lunch provided by Home and School; Winterlude week begins, Winterlude events will be announced in a separate email; first "Let's talk science" after school session for grade 1 and 2 students who received a letter that they are attending in this group
Feb. 27- 1/2 day PL day, 11am dismissal; PSSC 6:30pm
Feb. 28-Pink Shirt (or white shirt) Day to promote diversity and respect and anti-bullying
March 1-Teams and Clubs Picture Day for school Yearbook
March 5-9 - March break (no school)
