afternoon Creeker Families:
We
hope you are all well and that you enjoyed the beautiful weekend. On
another note, I would like to thank Miss Simon for being part of our Creeker
Community. She has been replacing Mr. Slack for the past 4 months in Grade 5
and has been a positive influence and dedicated educator for our students
. We wish her well in her future work. We welcome Mr. Slack back next
Monday.
School
Survey 2021 - Thank
you to all families who took part in our school survey. We had a 65 % response
rate and are compiling the data. We will share an overview with you as soon as
possible. We look forward to implementing some suggestions that you offered as
well. We are always open to suggestions and information that can lead us to
grow in our work for the support of your children.
Hot
Lunch Utensil Reminder – To be more environmentally friendly, please
send in utensils for your child to use on hot lunch day. We are continuing
with Fadi’s for the next two weeks. Hot lunch orders are due by 4 :00
pm Tuesday.
Cashless
Schools 4% fee - Beginning
May, a transaction fee of 4% will be applied to items offered in school
cash. This will be applied to all items whether purchased by cash, cheque
or e-wallet. Please see attachment for more info.

Scott’s Nursery
Spring Fundraiser
– GC Home and School will again be partnering with Scott’s Nursery to sell
beautiful plants for your spring needs. This fundraiser will help to support
playground beautification as well. More to come in the coming days 😉
District Chess
Tournament
– Our District will be hosting a virtual chess tournament for students in
grades 1-12. This will be a single qualification tournament,
which will be held online on May 9th. The players that qualify will gain
entry to the Provincial tournament, where the winners for each grade will
represent New-Brunswick at the Canadian Chess Challenge 2021. Both tournaments
will be held on lichess.org.Please review the attached
