Test on Map of Canada will be done on Thursday, Nov 5th, in class, but online. Students are expected to study the map each night to be ready for this quiz. The online games above will help with this.

Finishing up interview project. Students are expected to finish the drawing of their choice at home and have any notes still not recorded on the good copy, ready to be added on Monday. A few presenations will be done each day.   

US election news items requested. Students were asked to listen to some news on the weekend and be ready to recount a news item.  They may want to make a few notes so they do not forget the item and be able to say it in French, but it is not a large item to prepare.  A sentence or two with the general topic is what I am looking for, not an article printed off a website, or a paragraph or page written up by the students. (We will be working toward doing that soon, but not this week.)

Canadian government news welcome.

 American Election and results will be discussed in Social Studies and Math classes this week.

Language Arts:(6B2): 

Read for 10 minutes each night. 

Think about topics for Remebrance Day Poem or Reflection. We will be developing this writing through the upcoming week.

Use SORA at home. Follow the instructions sent via email to get on.  Hope students do this once per week. We will set a reading goad of novels and graphic novels for the year together.

EXTRA HELP: for F.I. Math and FI Social Studies:

• Thursdays (8:45-9:00) for 6B1 in their HR. -Students who are able to come at that time are welcome to join me in their HR classes for any questions or extra help they require.
• Options on Tuesdays for 6B1  in Room A32 (Mme S-A's room); Thursdays for 6B2, while in Library for Options.  ​
