​We are proud to offer a wide range of free virtual events to future students this fall that are designed to inform, entertain and be as concise as possible during their runtime.


Take a look at what we have to offer – these events are tailored to any step of your journey towards becoming a student and each is hosted live by our student recruitment team. These UNB alums will welcome you to an evening full of energy and information relevant to you.

UNB 101

New to UNB? Start here. UNB 101 is your introduction to the lifestyle, programs and campuses of UNB. These quick and concise 30-minute sessions will touch on a variety of topics and are a great bridge into our other sessions. Meet our recruiters, see the campus and understand what programs will be available to you here in New Brunswick.

UNB Q&A Series

Have questions for us? Great! This event series will include a brief 10-minute presentation on the evening’s topic, followed by a period for open questions. Topics range from programs offered at UNB, to residence to how to fill out your application.

These events are a great way to refresh yourself on a topic, and get an answer on the spot to even the most detailed of questions.

Take advantage of Fast-track Admissions 

UNB is currently providing a free application for all high school students who attend a virtual event.  

Taking advantage of our fast-track admissions program means that you can apply for free and receive an admissions decision on your application within one week of the event you attend.  

Interested? Here are the steps you need to follow:  

  1. RSVP to this event.  
  2. Apply to a UNB undergraduate program.   
  3. Choose the “pay later” option when asked to pay.  
  4. Have your guidance counsellor or the institution you attend send the most recent version of your transcript to chooseunb@unb.ca at least 24 hours before the event.  
  5. Attend an event.  
  6. Following your confirmed attendance, we’ll pay your application fee and submit your application for processing. Our admissions office will be in touch with a decision within one week.

Fast-track admissions is only available to those applying with a transcript from a Canadian High School.  
 
Fast-track admissions is not available for the Bachelor of Nursing (FR/SJ), Renaissance College (FR) or Health Sciences (SJ) programs. However, by attending the event you are still eligible for your application fee to be waived.​
