​Just a reminder for parents and students that there will be a small test tomorrow on the short story, Louisette ... to the end of part 3. We will be working with this part of the story today.

Students are encouraged to reread the story, to review the new vocabulary and to always take note of the verbs conjugated in the past tense.

We have had good discussions in class so I am confident that we will do well tomorrow.

Also, I had asked students to write a paragraph of their past weekend. A few students have yet to hand this in. It is an opportunity to see where they are at and to give them feedback. Next week, most likely on Tuesday, they will do a similar activity, but instead about the short story and this time it will be evaluated. So, I will try to get the students to hand those in today.

Friday, they will be given the last part of the story. For homework, they will be asked to read part 4 and take notes (this is homework for the weekend).
