​Good afternoon parents and guardians.

Last week, the class finished their write up on the short story, Louisette. I looked at them beliefly and was impressed by the effort and quality. I look forward to reading  them in detail. I certainly appreciated the effort.

This week, we will continue working on the past tense but it will only be weaved in to the lesson plan. Our main focus will be on a new short story ...one of my favorites! I chose it with the students in mind. I think they may find the topic interesting. The main objectives for these readings are to develop vocabulary, explore the French culture and to see some of these language structures in use. For the first story, they did a write up ... I am thinking that the second story could include a short oral presentation. We will see what they think of the story first. *Story starts tomorrow.

Homework: keep reviewing the past tense (new worksheets handed out today) and go over the story with a family member maybe.
