What's up in 3A this week

​Hello families,

Can you believe it is May already??!!  The students were sad to hear that we only have 37 days left together...yes, 37!  No tears yet though...;)
Here is what's up for next week in 3A:
Math groups: only a few more classes left to finish up fractions. Post-test date will be set during the week.
Ma Province:  we are also wrapping up Ma Province this week/early next week. Our next unit will be plants and soil!
Tuesday:  Day 2 of LiD groups. Question of the week is try to find a famous Canadian connected with your LiD topic.
Thursday:  Mme MacDonald's last day at Park...ok, maybe some tears now :(
Friday:  No school for students due to Subject Council Day for teachers.
Dreambox:  30 minutes each week please.
Swimming: permission slips will be coming home this week. I am still in need for a volunteer for our first swimming lesson on Tuesday, May 9th 1:00-2:30pm. Please let me know if you can help out as we will not be able to go if we do not have an extra adult with us.
Track and Field:  If you can volunteer, please fill out the form that went home with your child on Thursday and return it to school asap. Merci!
