Weekly Update

Hello families,

Happy to see the sun has finally decided to make an apperance for a few days. Already, April is gone and May is here. Here are the homwork items and reminders for this week:

  • Reading 60 minutes in French - please try to make this a priority as we will be doing our final reading evaluations in the next 4 - 6 weeks!
  • Dreambox - there are still many students who are not yet finished their assigned fractions objectives
  • Permission slips for Track and Field were sent home Thursday. Please sign and return. If you are able to volunteer, we would love to have you as well!
  • Thursday, May 11th we will be visiting the Corbett Brook with Ducks Unlimited to learn more about the importance of Wetlands and how we can work together to help preserve them. A permission form will be sent home this week.
  • We will be finishing our flex math unit on Fractions and Decimal Numbers next week. The post-test will be at the end of next week. The following unit will be Measurement.
  • We are continuing to explore Light in our Science Unit and will be starting an integrated Social Studies unit on Canada in Literacy this week.
  • A reminder that there is no school for students Friday due to Subject Council Day for teachers.
Have a wonderful week!
