Hi families,
What a fantastic time so far in 2018.  The kids are learning lots.  However, we have to remind them often to speak French in class.  In the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be sending home a progress report of how much effort your child is putting into speaking French as much as he/she can. 
  • Reading at least 65 to 75 minutes/week in French – Remember practice makes perfect.
  • The French book rapport is due next week: Feb. 1st (your child should have started his/her project. 
  • Continuing practicing multiplication facts
  • The Student Council will be selling Bully Prevention t-shirts for Pink Shirt day. The cost is $6.75 per shirt. Students can pick up a form at recess to bring home with more details.
  • There is a 2ball Tournament Wednesday for the students who have registered.
  • Thursday the Rights Respecting Club will be selling ​Hot Chocolate for 1$.
This Friday we will be beginning our 1st of 6 LiD group blocks. If your child has their LiD books at home, please send them in for Friday.
