What's up in 1A this week...

Bonjour les familles,
I hope you all had a wonderful March break!  I did...took lots of time to relax and read, and got a little skiing in too!  Here is what's up this week...
Math:  flexible math groups continue Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. If you haven't already done so, please sign and return the math letter that came home in your family file.
Literacy:  We are starting a new unit on being healthy. We will be studying the 4 food groups and lots of ways to have a healthy life style.  There is a lot of new vocabulary, so this will be a fun, interactive month!  Stay tuned for more information as the weeks go on...
Bienvenue Emily Boyle!  Mme Boyle is a STU intern who will be working in our classroom for the next 8 weeks. We are very excited to be welcoming her into our class and look forward to learning from her over the next several weeks!
There is NO popcorn snack this week. However, there will be popcorn for the next two weeks in a row because of the missed week this week. 

Upcoming dates to keep in mind:  
Monday, March 19 - Black history month presentation
Wed, March 21 - Group pics being taken by Harvey's (orchestra, junior choir etc...)
Wed, March 21 and 28  Popcorn
Tues, March 27 - No school for students
Wed, March 28 - Multicultural Night at PSS
Friday, March 30 - Good Friday, no school
Monday, April 2 - Easter Monday, no school
Have a great week back :)  Looking forward to seeing my kiddies...I missed them!
