​Hi there families!

I hope you have enjoyed this beautiful long weekend! Here are the updates and reminders for this week:

• Reading Students should be reading two books per night.  Using the ‘Vérification de lecture’ sheet, (attached here), students write the book’s title and parents sign
• In Social Studies we are continuing Explorers Past and Present
• Measurement continues in flexible math groups
• Please return all library books for Thursday (this is our last day for taking our books!)
• This week and next our class will be writing provincial assessments. Grade 4's are being assessed in Math, Scientific Literacy and both English and French reading comprehension
• Thursday there will be a Sock Hop fundraiser held by the Student Council. Admission is $2
• Friday our school will be participating in a River Walk to learn about the significance of the Saint John River in First Nations culture
• The Jump Rope for Heart campaign has two weeks left to go!

• May 30th: Volunteer appreciation breakfast
• June 1st - Track and Field
• June 1st: Jump Rope for Heart fundraisers due
• June 7th - District Track and Field
• June 8th - Leadership Day
• June 12th - BYOBanana for 3-5
• June 14th - BYOBanana for K-2
• June 15th - End of Year Field Trip (more details to come)​
