This week in 1A

Bonjour les familles,

I hope you had a wonderful fall week end…wow did it ever change in temperature quickly!  Speaking of cold weather, please make sure your child has a few layers of clothing for morning and first recess – it tends to only warm up for noon, and many of them were a bit chilly today.  Merci!  Here is what’s up in 1A this week…

Lundi – Bonne fête Sarah! Students are coming home with a brand new sound book. Please read the inside cover for instructions and details.  Make sure the book is in their communication bag every day.

Mardi – library (send back books please).

Mercredi – our first Chinese class of the year with Mr. Chen.

Jeudi – Our very first class with Mrs. D’Entremont – guidance and mindfulness. Also, our Terry Fox Walk 😊

Vendredi – this is the last day to submit orders for our fundraiser. I hope everyone was able to sell a few items to support PSS J  Also, it is “Orange Shirt Day” at Park Street in support of reconciliation.

I will be sending home a few games for you to play with your children to reinforce alphabet, numbers to 20 and sentence structures for September. Please keep these at home and use them until your children have become very familiar with alphabet and numbers…thank you in advance for your support!

Upcoming important dates:  Monday, October 1st – picture day…say cheese!

Have a great week…c’est l’automne!

Bryanna
