Update for our Last Week of 2018!

Where has the time gone!?!

We are already coming up on our last week of classes before the winter break. There are lots of special activities happening this week. Here are the weekly updates and reminders:

  • ​Reading 15 minutes in French: students are also encouraged to take some books home with them to keep reading over the break!
  • Xtra-Math.org: there will be lots of XTRA time to practice over the break as well :)
  • All week we will be having Santa BINGO each morning. The winning 3-5 and K-2 classes will receive an extra 15 minutes of recess at their teacher's discretion.
  • Monday will be the Kids Shopping Blitz at 1pm. Please be sure students bring in their tickets.
  • Monday is our Holiday Concert dress rehearsal. We are excited to see our full productiona and also to see the K-2 dress rehearsal
  • Please return all library books for Tuesday.
  • Wednesday will be Festive Dress Day. Wear your favorite holiday sweater, socks, hat, etc.
  • Thursday will be our Holiday Musical. We will have performances at 9 am and 12. Please be sure students dress nicely, but not too warmly. It's hot under the spotlight!
  • Friday will be a PJ day and we will also be having a small class party. I sent an email earlier today with a few suggestions for snacks if you'd like to send something in.
  • The Student Council will be having another Sock Hop Fundraiser Friday. A $2 donation will get you access to a fun-filled recess party and will help support Fredericton's newest shelter.
I hope that you all have a wonderful and restful break. We will see you all Tuesday, January 8th!
