​Dear Parents and Families, 

We had an exciting start-up today in Grade 2 French Immersion! We have been working on school and classroom routines and rules. We will continue to work on the new school ARCC Code in the following weeks ahead to make sure everyone is clear on behaviour expectations.

Not​es for families:

1)The student fee for 2019-2020 school year is $40.00/child. They are now being collected in September 2019. You are encouraged to pay online through Cashless Schools or by cash or cheque to your child's homeroom teacher. This covers all school supplies for working in the classroom (duotangs, pencils​, scissors, markers, pencil crayons, art supplies, etc) Thank you!

2) Home and School Communication bags were sent home today. Each child has a zipper bag with many school forms to be signed and returned by Friday, September 6th to your child's teacher. This bag is to be returned each school day and will contain homework and notices throughout the school year!

3) After-school care and Transportation. I asked families this morning where your child attends childcare afterschool or how they get home safely. Please let me know via email if you have a specific schedule for buses, daycare, etc. 

4) Allergies: Please let me know if your child has any known allergies or medical conditions. I will do my best to help them whenever needed or to care for them until help arrives. 

5) Meet the Teacher is Thursday, September 12th at 5:30-6:30PM at PSS. All are welcome for this coenboil!

​6)Freshgrade is receiving updates and not available until after September 23rd. We will give updates when we know it's ready to launch as a communication tool between home and school.
