Language Arts:

This week, the students started a writing piece.  I will be sending it home be the end of the month.  The focus for this activity:  *adding an introduction *linking words * extra details​.

We also learned about the life cycle of butterflies.  We took time to revise word wall words and sounds learned so far. 

Math:

We revised mental math stratetegies: doubles +1, -1, +2 and -2
