​Students are reminded that tomorrow is our school spirit day beginning at 11:00.  Please dress for the weather.

We have started our unit on Whole Numbers in Math.  We are reviewing place value of a 4 digit number, ordering numbers and representing numbers in standard, expanded and with base ten blocks.  Over the 5 day weekend here is a game for you to play:

Using a deck of cards (1-9) each player flips over 4 cards.  Place the cards in order from greatest to least to make a 4 digit number.  Say the number, write the number in standard form and in expanded form.  Example 2, 4, 3, 5 are the cards I flip over.  My number is 5432; 5000+ 400 +30 +2 .  This will strengthen the students understanding of place value.
