Week of November 28th

Week of November 28th:

Now that the weather is getting much colder, please make sure your child is dressed warmly in the morning. It would also be a good idea to pack extra socks and mitts in their book bag so they have extra if they need them. The mud and puddles have been very enticing for many!

Focus for the week:

Literacy:

Jolly Phonics: ( Vv  Ww )The children need to keep reviewing letter names, sounds/actions until they are mastered.

Sight words:  we   can

Please focus on these 12 high frequency sight words before reviewing the others:

a   I   to   is   the  he   are  was   it  and  of  that

-recognizes some sight words

-remembers and uses the language patterns

-notices when language pattern changes

-uses word substitutions that make sense
