Happy Halloween!
Just wanted to wish everyone a safe and fun-filled evening! And if you’re not trick-or-treatin’ , enjoy another beautiful, warm October evening.

A reminder that we visit the Library every Wednesday AM.

Thank you to all those who are reminding and/or listening to their child while they read their French “Evening Reading” Books. A reminder that I check their yellow check-in sheet every Tuesday and Friday morning. I’m definitely seeing improvement in the students who are regularly completing this work at home.

Some students who didn’t complete their 3 sentences in Health Class today (Santé) took their worksheet home with them. They might have more success completing it at home because they can bounce ideas off of you about ‘good choices’. They have to reflect on the choices they make (re: what they eat, what they say, what they do to say healthy physically, emotionally and mentally). They have to write a sentence on :
1-     One thing they are going to stop doing
2-     One thing they are going to start doing
3-     One thing they are going to continue doing.
It’s so neat seeing them reflect on their everyday life this way J

Any more volunteers for the Breakfast program?

Report cards come out November 20th. Parent-teacher conferences on Thurs Nov 23rd (PM) and Fri Nov 24th (AM). Sign-up sheets will be shared with you mid-month.

November Month-at-a glance coming soon!

A final thought…
We’re having many discussions on what it means to be a LEADER. Wow, I’m so lucky to have a lot of students in our class stepping up – merci! It would be so wonderful if you could spend some time this week and chat with your child about “what it means to be a leader” and “do you think you’re a leader, why/why not”?

Until next time!
