***Please keep reviewing the letters nightly until they are mastered. The children must be able to give the letter name, sound and action and should know most of them now. If they are learning many, focus on 2-3 at a time. They also need to practice proper letter formation.***If the letters/sounds are mastered, review sight words, starting with the first   12.

*** When sight words have been mastered, practice spelling them.

As part of the Physical Education Program, the students will soon be skating at York arena for two sessions. The first session will be 10:00-11:00 on January 15. The second session will be 10:00-11:00 on January 22nd.

Please return permission slips that were sent home the last week of December.

Your child will need skates and a helmet. We do have extras so please let me know if you need to borrow. We need LOTS of help tying laces and assisting on the ice. If you can come, please meet us there about 15 minutes before our ice time. The children are very thirsty after their skate so please pack an extra drink those days!
