End of School Year INFORMATION

​Good afternoon parents, guardians and students;

Please have a look at the Document section for upoaded Burton School Class Supply lists for the 2022-2023 school year.  I have also included the list for students moving to Grade 3 at Hubbard Schol. These are also posted on the front door of the school and copies have been sent to Oromocto Education Center as well.

There are a few items still in the office to be picked up. Please contact the school prior to June 30th or after Aug 22nd for pick up

Reminder to have a fun and safe summer and we look forward to seeing everyone retun in September.  The students return to classes on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

School Volunteers!

​A letter went home to families on Monday asking if anyone would like to volunteer with the school in different capacities.  We have several exciting events that take place throughout the year that could use parent/guardian/community volunteers to assit the school staff.

We are also looking for people to volunteer on the Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) and the Home & School Committees. 

If you are interested in volunteering with the school on these committees or for the breakfast and lunch programs, please contact the Administrative Assistant, Margaret at 506-357-4074 to help you get started!PSSC and Home and school (002).jpgPSSC and Home and school (002).jpg

​Just a reminder that the School Cash Online is set up to receive your Agenda pand Class supply payments.  Agendas are $10.75 and Class Suplies are $31.50.  Please make sure you click on your child's homeroom class for the supplies. You only need to purchase one of each for your child.

​Good morning and a huge Welcome Back to all of our Students and Staff at Burton Elementary School!  We trust that you had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to being back into the school routine.

PINK SHIRT DAY

​Reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 24th is PINK SHIRT DAY at Burton Elementary School. We encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. ​

BES School Clothing - 2nd Chance to Purchase!

​Advisng parents and guardians that the clothing site is active once again for any purchases of School t-shirts or hoodies! Only for a limited time though, so get yours today!! 

Remember that the purchase IS a TWO (2) STEP PROCESS.  You place your order on the clothing site THEN make your payment on SchoolCash Online. 

Items are available to order as of Wednesday, January 27th until 11:59pm Friday, February 5th,2021.  If order not placed and paid for prior to that time, it will not not be processed.

BES CLOTHING UPDATE!

​Good day.  Just wanted to let those that placed clothing orders for the school, that the order has been placed! We will advise everyone once we have an estimated delivery date.  As said earlier, delivery could be affacted by Covid-19 to the supplier.

Can't wait to see everyone wearing their Burton School Swag!!

REMINDER: School Clothing Deadline Approaching!

​In case you missed it in your email inbox, here is what was sent out to all this afternoon.

Good Friday afternoon to everyone,

 Please consider this as a friendly reminder if you were contemplating on placing a School Clothing order! Orders must be placed on the clothing website (https://burtonschool.ca) and then paid on SchoolCashNet Online (https://anglophonewest.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Details/20824/176/False/True) before 11:59pm on Sunday evening, December 6th, 2020. I will run the paid report on Monday morning, then once all orders are paid for, send it off to the printer for processing.

As Mrs. Charlton stated in her initial email, we hope to have the orders before Christmas, but due to Covid-19, there is no guarantee.

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me at the school via e-mail or phone (between 7:30 and 3:30pm).
